I’ve designed thousands of posters as a commercial artist (of nearly 40 years!), but this one…this one means a lot. This is one of those moments as an artist when I step back, look at all the pieces, and suddenly… I can see how the threads have been weaving together all along.

This show feels like one of those beautiful, full-circle moments.

To bring these incredible musicians into Fig Tree to celebrate the closing of such a meaningful chapter makes my heart sing. It’s my way of honoring this space, this community, this incredible journey… and saying a very heartfelt goodbye to my creative haven, Fig Tree.

If you’ve never had the chance to visit my location or experience the magic of womenfolkmusic, I hope you’ll join us Saturday, October 3. This is sure to be an unforgettable night…filled with beautiful intention, deep inspiration, incredible music, wild joy, and a whole lot of heart.

Come celebrate with us. Come dance. Come listen. Come be part of the story. ☮️❤️🎶

Tuesday, September 29- join us for an Open Mic at Fig Tree, hosted by Jim Tyrrell and Stacey Lucas (Fig)! 🎶

Come gather with us for an evening of food, open hearts, stories and music on what would have been my brother Darrick Lucas’s 40th birthday.

I love this picture of my brother Darrick, seen here as a featured musician for a gallery event in 2018. He is missed beyond measure, but his spirit lives on in story and music. On Tuesday night, bring your stories, music, laughter, and your love.

Food and refreshments will be served throughout the evening. Come just as you are with an open heart. This one’s for you, Darrick! 💚

Sometimes, we all need a little help.

Just six months after losing our brother Darrick, my family is facing another unimaginable chapter. My beautiful sibling, Flint has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and will undergo surgery next month, followed by a long recovery.

I know so many of us are carrying our own challenges right now. These are hard times, and they remind us how important it is to stay connected, to show up, lift each other, and remember that none of us are meant to carry everything alone.

So I’m sharing Flint’s GoFundMe for anyone who feels called to contribute, send a message, keep Flint and our family in your thoughts or simply share the GoFundMe link. (I’ll put it in the comments.)

We get through the hard seasons by standing together. Thank you for surrounding Flint and our family with love.

✨Serendipitous magic.✨

Actual fact about this photo: for the most part, none of these people had met prior to 15 minutes before this photo was snapped.

Well… except my friend and I (she’s on the left and that’s me on the right, full-body laughing while trying to snap a selfie).

Heidi and I have worked together for years on countless projects, dating back to the early days of Veggie Art Girl on Squam Lake. We met Wednesday at in Concord over inspired coffee and a scrumptious lunch. We were laughing so hard that these lovely ladies literally walked over and just…joined us.

“Scootch over!” our new friend Lorraine exclaimed, walking over with her purse and hot coffee mug.

If you really knew me, you know I *live* for this mystical happenstance.

More often than not, I’ve found it’s in this uniqueness, in the unconventional where we find our people—the curious, the creative, the ones who hold both the beauty and the madness, who move through the world boldly with open hearts and openness to the unknown. The playground I love to play. Lights on in the darkness.

Thank you for always being that in my life, and being that beacon . 💚

I woke up today grounded in this truth: two things can coexist.
The world can feel dark and unraveling—AND we can still learn to light our own fires, offering warmth when it’s needed.

I’m choosing the latter, with a renewed devotion to creative service.

Who else has heart-projects on pause because life overwhelm is real? (And, if we’re being honest, systemically manipulated, which is all the more reason to give your voice space!)
What needs your creative attention to feel sovereign again? ✨ Shout it out in the comments and share. I’m here for the conversation! 💚

As we begin to round off January, I hope you are feeling grounded and nourished. In these uncertain times, I find creativity and connection to be healing as we come together in community for one another. Here’s a whimsical doodle I created to remind myself to find the magic. I hope it’s what you...

Wishing all my friends near and far a season of peace and joy. May you feel alive in your creative practices, nourished in your body and open to the magic of a new year. Thank you for your support in 2025 and beyond. Sending you BIG L❤️VE!

(📸: thanks to for snapping this smiling shot at when and I were prepping for - so much community fun!) ❤️
