For the past 34 years, Omer Nelson Electric has had the privilege of helping our community with their wireless needs.

We’ve sold a lot of phones in those years, but more importantly, we’ve gotten to know generations of customers. We’ve tried our very best to be the place you could walk into when you needed a real person to help.

Wireless changes fast, and sometimes those changes don’t include little family-owned businesses. Beginning December 1, Omer Nelson Electric will no longer be a Verizon Authorized Retailer.

This is a hard change for us. Wireless has been part of our business for more than three decades, and we are genuinely sad that we won’t be able to serve our customers in the same way we have for the last 34 years. But Omer Nelson Electric isn’t going anywhere.

We’re excited about what comes next.

ONE has been here since 1952, and wireless has always been just one part of what we do. We’ll be digging even deeper into the things we already do well — electrical contracting and electrical supplies, electronics, computer sales and repair, and we’ll keep all the latest cell phone accessories in stock, just as we have for the last three decades — while finding new ways to serve the community that has supported our family business for generations.

Businesses change. Industries change. Sometimes the path changes before you’re ready for it. But our commitment to this community hasn’t.

Thank you to every person who trusted us with their phones, sent a friend or family member to see us, waited patiently while we figured out something weird, or simply walked through our doors when you needed help.

Thank you for supporting a small, family-owned business. We are incredibly grateful for the years you’ve given us — and we’re very much looking forward to the years ahead!

🔌 Even electricians and phone technicians need to unplug once in a while!

Omer Nelson Electric will be CLOSED Monday for Labor Day so our crew can enjoy a well-earned day off.

We’ll be back Tuesday at 8am, ready to go! ⚡️
