Be careful browsing Facebook. I clicked on something off to the right because they made it look like a friend request with many friends in common. When I clicked on it my laptop screen went crazy with popups and crazy sounds and messages. Ignore it all. Don’t call whatever phone number they have for you. Simply close all your browsers (delete browser history as an additional cleanup step) and scan your computer with your virus program. It’s nothing but an attempt to have you call the phone number and get scammed.

It appears Epson has now taken exclusive steps with their printer firmware upgrades. Suggestions have been to turn off automatic firmware upgrading on your printer if you want to continue using your generic brand of ink cartridges. I've heard from customers that installing new firmware upgrades has caused the printer to not recognize their current installed generic ink cartridges. This action by Epson appears to force you to buy only Epson brand inks and pay their prices.

I found a possible solution for a new customer this morning.

Had a new customer approach me with an Epson super ink tank issue. They had purchased an off brand cyan color. Turns out, that ink color printed much darker. Almost indistinguishable to the color black! So he had to get that ink out of there and replace it with true cyan color. He said he read where people had taken a syringe and hose and sucked the wrong ink out of the cyan super tank. I also gave him the tip of creating a full solid block page of cyan and print that page until the color is expired. Not the best situation but the 2nd best solution compared to running power cleanings which caused him to replace his waste tank twice already. Hope that helps someone with this unfortunate situation!😊
