Unless you specifically initiated a support request, assume it is a scam. If in doubt, contact someone like myself. I will never charge for a call, text, or email trying to verify a scam.

It is always safer to say no and have to try again than to try to fix the damage someone can do if you give them access.

Tip for Apple users. Turn off iMessage option in messages app settings. It relies on the cellular data which is more demanding than standard SMS texting. You will have greater success sending and receiving texts until cellular is back to normal
