Your future duties and responsibilities
• Advanced proficiency in coding in Java 8, Spring Boot, Microservices, as well as RESTful Web Services.
• Good experience with Angular, Node JS
• Familiarity with AWS setup
• Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in new/revised applications or large/complex development projects.
• Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate.
• Participate in all agile ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration and team retrospectives.
• Help improve code quality by implementing recommended best practices
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 3+ years of experience of development using Java and J2EE
• 2+ years’ experience Spring Boot, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Integration and Spring Security
• 1+ years of experience developing web-based GUI with JavaScript and its libraries/frameworks including Angular, NodeJS etc.
• Proficiency in Java 8
• Familiarity with AWS setup
• Experience with implementing integration solutions with RESTful Web Services
• Proficiency in unit testing/Mockito
• Hands-On experience with Database development and tools with SQL
• Experience in CSS, HTML and SQL/databases, XML and JSON
• Experience in testing automation using Selenium, Cucumber, and JUnit
• Experience with build tools like Maven/Gradle
• Knowledge and experience with CI/CD with knowledge of Git Hub, Maven and Jenkins.
• Excellent problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
• Passionate about learning new things along with good work ethics
Desired qualifications
• Hands-on experience with AWS development using any of AWS services like EC2, EB, IAM, S3, SDK, CLI, Code Deploy, Code Commit, Lambda/Step Functions, Cloudfront, Cloudwatch etc.
• Scripting experience using bash, shell or python
• Experience with JMS, React, Backbone
• Experience with code quality tools like Sonarqube
