AUGUST RECAP
August began with Hanke Studios celebrating our first anniversary, and the month never really slowed down from there.
Over the past several weeks, our work has taken us from senior sessions and engagement photographs to football fields, community events, marching band and the Heritage Hills yearbook classroom.
This month included:
• Senior sessions with Layni and Maci
• The Honor and Remember Run alongside our OFS coworkers
• The Mariah Hill Picnic
• Heritage Hills Football Media Day
• The Heritage Hills Marching Patriots Ice Cream Social
• Heritage Hills football against Jasper, South Spencer and Apollo
• Seventh and eighth-grade Heritage Hills football
• Heritage Hills Varsity and JV boys soccer against Forest Park
• Maddie and Levi’s engagement session
• The beginning of our ongoing work with the Heritage Hills yearbook photography students
One of the most meaningful developments this month was scheduling time with the yearbook class for the foreseeable future. We are excited to continue helping the students learn how to document their school, understand their cameras and tell the stories happening around them.
Sports. Seniors. Couples. Schools. Community events.
Different assignments, but the same purpose behind every one of them: documenting, promoting and celebrating the people, places and moments that make our community special.
