When many parents hear "STEM," images of computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones come to mind—all the screen-based devices that already occupy so much of our kids’ time!
It’s no surprise then that summertime STEM education can come with mixed feelings, despite its necessity in our tech-driven world.
At BAM!, we bridge the gap in an unexpected way.
In our STEM Without Screens™ curriculum, campers build, test, experiment, iterate, collaborate, and solve problems with tech, minus the screens.
They learn by doing, whether they’re programming Dash Robots, learning to code with movement-based Unruly Splats, or engineering whimsical Rube Goldberg® machines with new friends.
These camp activities aren’t tech-free; they’re tech-intentional, offering screen-free experiences that balance today’s digital world with hands-on, minds-on exploration.
While we celebrate the power of computers in many of our enrichment courses, STEM Without Screens™ is designed to spark curiosity, movement, and collaboration in a uniquely unplugged way.
