We are excited to announce ACMi has won an Overall Excellence award from the Alliance for Community Media Foundation’s Hometown Media Awards program! 🥳🤩🏆

We received this honor for our piece, "2025 Highlights Video", which is a combination of the presentations made for the AGM. Watch it on our main YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/PAk7QztPODI and feel free to celebrate with us in the comments!

As a center committed to amplifying free speech and having aired "Democracy Now!" for many years, ACMi is eager to celebrate award-winning journalist Amy Goodman's latest documentary STEAL THIS STORY, PLEASE! with our neighbors in and around 🥳👏

In STEAL THIS STORY, PLEASE!, Amy Goodman takes on armed soldiers, politicians, and corporate media in a fearless pursuit of truth. Winner of eight audience awards, the gripping portrait of iconic independent journalist Amy Goodman (Democracy Now!) is directed by Oscar nominated filmmakers Carl Deal and Tia Lessin.

Lucky for us, Coolidge Corner Theatre has several showings over the next week, but they're already starting to sell out! Visit https://stealthisstoryplease.official.film/ and find a seat for you and your friends looking for a call to action and a celebration of resistance 🎟️✊
