What can you still send after the October cutoffs?

By now your inbox has its own folder of final-month reminders for important voter outreach channels, and most of them end with an October deadline. Your final week after those deadlines and the election can't be spent twiddling your thumbs hoping voters will be moved to action.

Our team came home from NextAfter's NIO Summit in Fort Worth calling it the best conference they have ever attended.

Dr. Michael Martinez Scott ran for Riverside County Board of Education Trustee Area 1 with a $12,000 budget, no field team and a knee injury that ruled out door knocking, against two opponents who raised a combined $250K.

He won outright, taking 46.3% of the vote and finishing more than 10,000 votes ahead of his closest opponent.

The strategy behind the win relied on P2P texting: segmented outreach built for specific audiences, two-way conversations that surfaced what was resonating and a same-day response that helped correct a false claim before it could spread.
