Here’s something worth putting on your radar if your organization uses .NET!

Both .NET 8 and .NET 9 will reach end of support on November 10, 2026.

Now is a good time to ask a few simple questions:

• Which of our applications are running on .NET 8 or .NET 9?
• Are those applications fully up to date today?
• What dependencies could affect an upgrade?
• Do we have enough time set aside to test and deploy the next version properly?

Once support ends, Microsoft will no longer provide security patches or technical support for these releases. Even .NET 8, which was released as a Long Term Support version, reaches the end of its three-year support window on that date.
