Shadow Cats

Why is there gold glitter all over our house?

Mom made a map of 1950s transportation to auction at the Anchorage Museum Annual Gala.

She used gold leaf, which I learned is actually real gold, so at least it’s classy glitter.

We have other vintage maps that are postcards with gold (that will NOT leave glitter everywhere.)

The first time mom took me fat biking, she just started, and we got lost for several hours in what we now know is called “North Bivy.” if you know my mom, you know she’s kind of obsessed with fat bike trails now.

After getting lost several more times, she decided to map them all out, which is where these maps got their start.

keeps building new trails (Hell yeah, sorry mom)

There’s going to be an updated winter map with the new Service trails, but these ones are on sale because of that.

And if you want, Dexter and me will totally sharpie the new trails in for you if you want. (It’s free, but remember you get what you pay for.)
