GCI has a Facility Maintenance Technician III role that can be based out of Anchorage, Bethel, Kotzebue or Nome and will travel throughout the state of Alaska.

This position performs preventive maintenance and repair of the Company’s facility infrastructure to maximize availability and provide the highest quality of service for our customers.

It requires 8 years in a facility operation, maintenance environment, telecommunications technician role, or related background and offers a $2,500 Signing Bonus!!!

GCI's SMC Technician I will monitor and support critical network elements to maintain the continuous operation of the company’s network and system infrastructure. Provide on-shift surveillance, management, advanced-level troubleshooting response, and trouble resolution of the company’s Wireless Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment and Core Transport Network in order to provide the highest level of network availability, restoring service.

If you have at least 4 years of experience, preferably in wireless, and an Associate's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field (or a combination of relevant work experience and/or education to equal those required 6 years) apply now!!!
