Hi everyone, it's Glen from Alaska Computer Guy. I've got several older Dell Optiplex computer towers that I’ve refurbished and would love to give away. I picked these up from a business that was upgrading and wanted to keep them out of the landfill. These machines are about 10 years old—not ideal for gaming, but they work great for email, internet browsing, and document work. Each one has been tested, has at least 8GB of RAM, and comes with a fresh copy of Windows 11 installed.
I’m hoping these computers can go to folks who don’t have a computer or are stuck using an old one that needs replacing. Please note, I’m only giving away the towers and power cords—no monitors, keyboards, or mice are included.
If you’re interested, feel free to call or text me at 727-1489. You can arrange to pick them up from my office at 6160 Old Seward Hwy. I'm often here during the daytime on weekdays unless I happen to be somewhere else.

Hey so it's been awhile since we posted an update here on Facebook but I wanted to check in with our followers. We mostly scaled back our home support services division when Anchorage went into lockdown a couple of years ago so we could focus on our business support services. An opportunity to open a physical storefront downtown has recently presented itself and I'm on the fence about whether to move forward with it or not. What do you think; does Anchorage need another small computer repair shop and would you like to see Alaska Computer Guy expand beyond the home office we have operated out of for these past 18 years?

Are you (or do you know) a JavaScript Node person with experience data mining and page scraping?

Are you (or are they) interested in volunteering their time to Our Alaska Judges?

A friend of mine is looking to establish a factual online database which will help the general voting public get a good idea on how the Alaska Judges are ruling on the Bench and they are looking for outside help but are looking for someone who is willing to donate time for a good cause.
