It’s summer in Alaska, which means out-of-state tech reps are lining up to fly up here. They love doing a POS install in July so they can go tubing, take some nice photos, and treat the trip like a vacation. ✈️☀️
But what happens when their flight heads back to the Lower 48?
When your system crashes during a brutal Friday night rush in the dead of winter, a guy who visited Anchorage once for a summer trip isn't going to save your sales.
At Skurla’s, your business isn't our vacation spot:
We live right down the street.
We've been backing Alaskans for 50 years.
When things break, we don't hop on a Zoom call—we drive over.
Skip the fly-in tech tourists. Stick with the neighbors who actually stay.
👉 Give us a call at 907-243-2683 or head to skurlas.com to chat with a local.

You don't need a massive, expensive POS contract to solve this. Square can handle it—you just need a local partner to set it up right.
Skurla’s builds your Square menu so it works exactly how you bake:
Flawless Ticket Routing: Clean tickets printed straight to the oven line.
Accurate Inventory: Automatically track fractional toppings so you never run out.
Local Alaskan Support: If your menu needs a tweak on a busy Friday night, we are just a local phone call away.
Stop struggling with complex menu builds. Let the local pros do it for you.

Happy National French Fry Day! 🍟
A few universal truths in the restaurant and bar world:
• Nobody likes soggy fries.
• Nobody likes a slow checkout.
• NEVER steal another person's fries.
If your card reader takes so long that hot fries go cold before the receipt even prints, we need to talk. 🛑
Square uses a direct pipeline to drop transaction times to under two seconds—with zero signature prompts. Tap, dip, done. Your food stays hot, and your lines keep moving.
But here’s the catch: to get these lightning-fast speeds and make sure our local Alaskan team is in your corner for hands-on support, you have to sign up directly through Skurla's.
