As National Traffic Awareness Month comes to an end, always practice safe driving habits and pay attention to all that is happening around you.

Remember: the most dangerous time for kids is when they're getting on or off the bus.
🛑 Stop for red lights.
🚸 Watch for kids.
📏 Stay 10 feet back.

Remember: farm machinery often moves at slower speeds than regular traffic.
🚜 Slow down and stay alert
⚠️Be patient
📱Avoid distractions

It's going to be a hot one Sunday and into early next week with temperatures in the upper 90s, so keep these extreme heat safety tips in mind. Staying cool and safe is a community effort. If you're looking for ways to manage summer energy use, remember that raising your thermostat a few degrees when you're away (and lowering your blinds or closing your curtains) and using ceiling fans can help reduce energy costs while keeping your home comfortable.
