Looking through different models and campaigns, what stands out isn’t just the visuals, it’s how consistent the attitude is. Confident, bold, and fully committed to the look.

Not just a bag. The Bag.

In 1969, released The Bag, an early commercially available talk-box-style device. The instrument’s signal ran into a small speaker driver inside the pouch and up a plastic tube to the player’s mouth. By shaping the sound and capturing it with a microphone, the guitar produced vocal-like tones.

Finished in patterned fabric with fringe, it reflected Kustom’s late-1960s design language. Produced only briefly, original units are now collectible among vintage gear enthusiasts and remain a true piece of late-1960s innovation.
