The Nerd Brigade demo is now available to play online! Due to popular demand we have just released a Web Player build of the game, which you can play in the browser without needing to download anything. This does not have any bearing on our long-term plans to release Nerd Brigade exclusively as a PC/Mac download, but will hopefully help us bring the project to a wider audience in the meantime.

Going back into the demo code today to fix a bug that breaks the game if you enter and exit out of the menu screen too quickly. Please let me know if any of you have found any other glitches and I can look at resolving them in this upcoming patch.

We had a third-party company run an assessment of our Kickstarter campaign, to see how we might optimize it. The results are quite encouraging, I was proud of everything we've put together so far but it's nice to see that someone else thinks the product we're building is "Great". We still really need your help, so please visit and share the link to the Kickstarter, and I think we have a Great chance to get Nerd Brigade funded.

Still waiting for Google Adwords to approve it, but I put together a 15-second cut of the gameplay footage to make a quick trailer for Nerd Brigade. It's an interesting exercise (especially considering some of my longer, more rambly videos) to edit something down to its essentials like this.

After all that waiting for account verification I am glad to say that the rest of the process went very quickly - our Kickstarter has been approved and the Nerd Brigade campaign will be launching tomorrow!

So it looks like my complaining has paid off, Amazon Payments finally verified the account so were able to submit the Kickstarter campaign! This is very exciting, the next step is waiting a few days for that to be approved, and then we'll be ready to take our fundraising efforts live!

Sorry for another less-than-exciting update, but I wanted to let you know we are still stuck waiting for Amazon Payments to verify our account before we can proceed with the Kickstarter. It's supposed to take 7 days but we're going on 3 weeks now. That's much longer than I would have hoped, but I appreciate your help keeping the energy up around Nerd Brigade and sharing the demo. And please let me know if anyone has ever had a positive experience with Amazon Payments, I could use the encouragement because so far I have been very unimpressed with this service.
