I haven’t fallen off the radar, just working on a few things I can’t necessarily post on social media.
However, one thing I CAN post about is the quick little office job I completed for my friends at The Heartpine Company. Their other low-voltage contractor dropped the ball, and Zephyr grabbed the fumble and scored!
Tripp-Lite equipment rack and battery backup, 48-port Commscope patch panel, and data switching courtesy of a 24-port, 1 Gigabit Cisco switch.
Only thing missing is a box cover for the wire exit from the wall, which is on order.

Equipment arrival allowed some progress on the 1950 Amherst update! Halfway done!

Residential Upfit in the Town of Amherst. Split level home built in 1950. Owner is remodeling the basement into a den/entertainment room, and network drops will be made throughout the house based on need.

Even during days off we can’t help but mess with cables.
The owner of our local coffee and smoothie shop, Hangout on Main, mentioned that she needed a screen moved and, well, the tools were in the truck. She supplied the caffeine via a smooth Cafe Breva,and I supplied the fasteners for the TV mount. Updates soon!

Changes made during this project included:
Larger electronics rack for enhanced security and future system expansion.
Consolidation of power needs under a single Universal Power Supply
Addition of single-circuit power control unit
3 New Cat6 data lines for Point Of Sale Units, pulled, terminated, and Pass/Fail tested.
15 existing Cat6 lines Pass/ Fail tested,
7 required repair (re-termination)
Cable mitigation and consolidation patterns limited by customer Statement Of Work.
Time on Site: 6.5 hours
