That’s part of what they’re hiring me for.

I want to listen to their ideas, understand what they’re trying to accomplish, offer suggestions, take care of the details, and help guide the project from beginning to end.

Your website should be working for your business even when you're not.

It should be helping potential customers find you, understand what you do, trust your business, see the quality of your work, and know exactly what to do next.

That's a lot more than simply looking good.

When I design a website, I'm thinking about questions like:

→ Is the message clear?
→ Can visitors quickly find what they need?
→ Does the website build trust?
→ Are there obvious next steps?
→ Does it work just as well on a phone?
→ Is it actually helping the business accomplish something?

Because your website isn't just something your business is supposed to have.

**It's a business tool.**

And if yours isn't doing much for you right now, it should be doing more.

A lot more.

There are a lot of things I appreciate about a five-star review.

But this might be one of the best things a client can say:

“I've already reached out to him about building a second website for another one of our businesses.”

This review came after I built the Arkansas Premier Tournaments website that I shared earlier this week.

For me, that's what makes this one especially meaningful.

I want my clients to be happy with the website I build, but I also want them to have a great experience getting there. I want the process to be easy to understand, communication to be clear, and my clients to know I'm still here when they need me after launch.

When that experience leads someone to trust me with another project, that's about as good of a testimonial as I could ask for.

⚾ Website Showcase: Arkansas Premier Tournaments

I've been back inside the Arkansas Premier High School Tournaments website quite a bit this past week!

Their Fall High School Development League is underway in Northwest Arkansas, so I've been helping keep the website updated as new information needs to be added to the individual event pages.

It's a good example of something I really enjoy about what I do.

I don't necessarily disappear once a website launches.

I love continuing to work with clients as their businesses grow and their needs change, whether that's adding something new, updating existing information, or simply making sure their website continues doing what they need it to do.

A website shouldn't just look good on launch day.

It should continue working for you long after that.

There’s a line in this review from Myra at Alma Animal Clinic that really means a lot to me:

“He really listened to what we wanted.”

That's a big part of how I approach every website project.

I’m always going to offer suggestions and share what I think will work best, but I also want my clients to feel heard throughout the process. At the end of the day, I’m helping bring their vision to life.

And I especially love that Myra described the finished Alma Animal Clinic website as both aesthetically pleasing and “super functional.”

A good-looking website is great. A good-looking website that actually works for the business is even better.
