We love bringing your embroidery ideas to life, but there’s a little more to the process than simply loading a design and pressing start! ❤️
✨ **Why can’t we just guess the thread count?**
Every embroidery design is different! The number of stitches depends on the design’s size, detail, density, lettering, and placement. Two designs that look similar can have very different stitch counts. Guessing could mean inaccurate pricing, unexpected production time, and a result that doesn’t meet our quality standards.
We want to give you the most accurate quote possible, and that means taking the time to evaluate your design rather than pulling a number out of thin air!
✨ **Why do we charge a setup fee?**
Before your design can be stitched, there’s preparation involved! Depending on the job, this can include:
🧵 Reviewing and preparing your artwork
🖥️ Digitizing artwork into an embroidery-ready file
📏 Adjusting the design for the garment and placement
🪡 Setting up the machine, thread colors, and stitching sequence
🔍 Testing and making adjustments to help ensure a quality result
These steps take time, knowledge, and experience — and they’re an important part of getting your finished product right!
