Not so new phishing/s*xtortion going around recently. Convincing because in the email it has an old password that I used long time ago. Don't be fooled and change your passwords on important accounts like bank, email and anything with a credit card. Here is a start of the email.
I investigated that, ********* is your secret password and I'm going to cut to the chase. You don't know anything about me whereas I know you and you must be thinking why you're receiving this e-mail, right?
I actually placed malware on adult video clips (p**n material) and there's more, you visited same s*x web site to have fun (if you know what I mean). When you were watching video clips, your browser began operating as a RDP (Remote Computer) that has a backdoor which provided me accessibility to your display screen and also your web cam controls. Just after that, the software program gathered all your contacts from messenger, social networks, and email.
Don't fall for it and if you haven't changed your password, this should be a good wakeup call. On a mac, so it doesn't even use RDP. Here is an interesting article on the scam.
