If you're noticing Windows 7 taking longer to find updates than in the past (we certainly have), there's a couple likely explanations... either Microsoft wants to force/push you into upgrading to Windows 10, or their programmers are inept. Either way, shame on Microsoft.

Even with the latest Windows Update client, applying updates remains glacially slow
