I provide a service of repairing controllers/consoles, buying broken ones, and modding. Hating that It is designed to fail, to slow, to no longer be supported.

Having a passion for gaming since the 1990s I've enjoyed the hours of engaging in stories and playing with friends no matter the time or weather, one thing that has always frustrated me is the planned obsolescence of our tech. The only way out of this that most of the industry gives us is to either buy a new product or to send it in and have it take weeks or months to get our tech back. Many of th

ese pieces of tech are also expensive and we don't always have the luxury of getting a new one. So, I simply offer an alternative for buyers. It isn't perfect and I can't guarantee that I can always fix it. If I can't, then there won't be a charge as that's fair, but we also shouldn't have our narrow options for a broken piece of tech. There used to be repair shops for almost everything all over the place. Now all we really have left are autoshops and a few small business tech repair locations for laptops, tablets, phones, and appliances. It's time for things to change here on the West Coast.

Xbox One S Controller (1708)

J's Tech Repair Shop is selling this Xbox One S Black controller. I've made sure to check each button (LT, RT, LB, RB, L stick, L3, R stick, R3, Up, Down, Left, Right on the D-pad, A, B, X, Y, Menu, Options, Home button, and Sync.), the 3.5mm headphone jack, and rumble motors.
-- Controller had one bad RB button that would respond only part of the time and since the LB button was somewhat mushy... both buttons on the motherboard were placed with new ones. The biggest issue is the sync button as it doesn't work and due to lacking the part I can't fix it. So, I do have a 6ft UGreen braided charge cord as a solution that allows you to sync this controller to your Xbox One/Series X. Simply turn the console on, plug in the cord and attach the controller and the controller will automatically turn itself on and sync to the console. You can then unplug the cord and play wirelessly with batteries. The headphone jack had static and was replaced as well as the joystick caps. They were pretty worn. Controller was dirty and I deep cleaned all components and motherboards. A few pieces of lent may exist. ;)

Xbox One S (1708) Controller

J's Tech Repair Shop is selling this Xbox One S Black controller. I've made sure to check each button (LT, RT, LB, RB, L stick, L3, R stick, R3, Up, Down, Left, Right on the D-pad, A, B, X, Y, Menu, Options, Home button, and Sync.), the 3.5mm headphone jack, and rumble motors.
-- The RB button wasn't registering in gameplay, so it was replaced with a new button on the motherboard. I retested and it worked every time I tried it. Everything else works as expected. Joystick caps were also worn and replaced with new ones. Controller was very dirty and was deep cleaned along with wiping down main sections of the motherboards.

I do have a 7 day guarantee on all of my controllers to make sure you're happy as a customer. If not we can swap for another controller (same value) in the shop or your money back.

Xbox One S Controller (1708)

J's Tech Repair Shop is selling this Xbox One S Blue controller. I've made sure to check each button (LT, RT, LB, RB, L stick, L3, R stick, R3, Up, Down, Left, Right on the D-pad, A, B, X, Y, Menu, Options, Home button, and Sync.), the 3.5mm headphone jack, and rumble motors. This one had some fairly good damage to the shell and covers. So, the shell and button covers have been replaced (was white/black and is now blue with a spare shell I had.) The internals were also dirty so the motherboards and conductive parts have been cleaned. The gamepad for the buttons was wore out and has been replaced too. This has been deep cleaned and all wires have been checked over. Only thing not needing attention was the frame, rumbles, and headphone jack. This one took some work. XD

Xbox One S Conroller (1708)

J's Tech Repair Shop is selling this Xbox One S White controller. I've made sure to check each button (LT, RT, LB, RB, L stick, L3, R stick, R3, Up, Down, Left, Right on the D-pad, A, B, X, Y, Menu, Options, Home button, and Sync.), the 3.5mm headphone jack, and rumble motors. The left trigger was very sticky. It has been realigned and cleaned. There was stick drift in the right joystick. After checking left and right all potento. sensors were bad and all were replaced. Headphone jack was crackling and was replaced. The D-Pad had double inputs when only pushed once. The conductive sticker was replaced and retested. This has been deep cleaned and all wires have been checked over.

I've made sure to check each button (LT, RT, LB, RB, L stick, L3, R stick, R3, Up, Down, Left, Right on the D-pad, A, B, X, Y, Menu, Options, Home button, and Sync.), the 3.5mm headphone jack, and rumble motors. The 3.5mm jack was replaced as the connection was poor for the headset. Right trigger frame was also replaced as it was cracked. Gamepad was replaced to fix the mushy A button. This has been deep cleaned and all wires have been checked over. Everything works well.

The 3.5mm jack was replaced as the connection was poor for the headset. This has been deep cleaned and all wires have been checked over. Everything works well.

I've made sure to check each button (LT, RT, LB, RB, L stick, L3, R stick, R3, Up, Down, Left, Right on the D-pad, A, B, X, Y, Menu, Options, Home button, and Sync.), the 3.5mm headphone jack, and rumble motors. The 3.5mm jack was replaced as the connection was poor for the headset. This has been deep cleaned and all wires have been checked over. Everything works well. There are some scratches on the top right of the front shell.

WELCOME! Browse our repaired products. Here we provide the following...
- Products for resale. They will be cheaper than what you can find in the store. I do also warranty items for 7 days just to make sure you are pleased as a customer. We will meet in person for the transaction.
- Repair Service. We take controllers and consoles for repair. First, it will be diagnosed and looked over and we do a cleaning. We'll communicate the cost for repair and get your approval for the work. If cleaning and a repair doesnt fix the controller there won't be a cost. Consoles will have a cleaning and diagnosis cost of $15. If repairs need to be done that $15 will go toward the repair. When the work is complete we'll meet up for the transaction.
- Custom Modding. Buttons, shells, lighting, skins, etc can be swapped out for the look and feel you desire! There will be a lot of communication about the changes and to make sure I get it right. There will eventually be some modded controllers and Elites for resale in the future. Once mods are discussed I'll give a price for the work and your approval.
