We’re often asked. SoundOff Signal answered.
Why Silicone? Because Failure Isn't an Option.
We’ve seen what happens in the field when equipment doesn't hold up - when a high-speed pursuit takes a turn off-road or a call leads you into the elements with no room for error. In those moments, there’s no time for gear that cracks under pressure. Literally.
That’s why we challenged the industry standard. Traditional polycarbonate lenses are more rigid, showing they can be more vulnerable to impact, vibration and environmental extremes. So we asked ourselves: what if there’s another way?
After rigorous testing and development, we found the answer in silicone. Unlike polycarbonate, silicone absorbs impact, resists cracking and bounces back in the toughest conditions - rain, salt, heat, cold or high-speed debris. It’s built to perform when you can’t afford anything less.
This isn't just innovation for innovation’s sake. It’s about delivering peace of mind to the people we serve - officers, responders and fleet professionals who rely on their lights to stay visible and stay safe, no matter what the call demands.
