We were honored to attend the Region V Fall Meeting in Wise County!

County and District Clerks gathered to share ideas, learn from one another, and discuss the responsibilities they share, from protecting county records to serving the public.

A special thank-you to Wise County Clerk Blanca Tuma and her team for bringing everyone together. Your leadership and warm hospitality made it a memorable day!

We also enjoyed meeting U.S. Navy veteran David Stuart of Bridgeport and U.S. Air Force veteran Clark Waggoner of Decatur, representing the Wise County Veterans Group. Thank you both for your service to our country and community!

Preserving Moore County’s history!

For more than two decades, Moore County Clerk Brenda McKanna has served her community and cared for its records. Her recent preservation project reflects her dedication to keeping that history safe and accessible.

Brenda partnered with Revolution Data Systems to preserve Moore County’s Mark & Brand Records from 1895–2019, including original cattle brand records for Sneed Brothers and C***s Ranch, as well as the Record of Election Returns from 1892–2023.

The foundation is down, and our next chapter is going up!

We’re expanding in Louisiana with a state-of-the-art Digitization & Preservation Lab, creating more room for our team and the important records entrusted to us.

From restoring fragile documents to digitizing and indexing collections, Revolution Data Systems helps customers preserve the past while improving access for today.

Please join us in welcoming Michael Steelman to Revolution Data Systems as our new Director of Operations!

As RDS continues to grow and expand nationally, we are excited to welcome Michael to our leadership team. Based at our Dallas facility, Michael will help strengthen and scale our operations while supporting the teams behind the preservation, digitization, indexing, and technology services we provide to customers across the country.

Michael brings more than 30 years of experience in operational leadership, with a strong background in building scalable teams, standardizing processes, improving performance, and creating exceptional customer experiences.

In his new role, Michael will focus on strengthening production operations, improving processes and reporting across our Service Bureaus, enhancing coordination with our software and indexing partners, supporting the continued development of Cyclone, and helping build the operational foundation for RDS’s continued growth.

Michael believes in leading by example and isn’t afraid to roll up his sleeves and work alongside his team. Most importantly, he shares a value that is central to RDS: every customer matters, from the largest county to the smallest town.

We are excited about the experience, leadership, and perspective Michael brings to RDS and look forward to what’s ahead.

A 150-year-old book. Nearly 80 years of town decisions. One irreplaceable record.

Settled in 1794, the Town of Spencer, New York, has a history worth protecting. Its minute book, dating from 1875 to 1953, was in poor condition and was the town’s only record of decisions made during that period.
Town Supervisor Allen Fulkerson recognized what was at risk and took action.

RDS preserved the historical pages and created a custom record binder to help protect this important part of Spencer’s story.
