Hey Abilene and Dickinson County! 👋

I have some exciting news to share with you all. Rik's Reboot Tech Repair is officially moving!

Thanks to the incredible support from this community, we have outgrown our current space. We are expanding into a much larger shop so we can set up new repair stations and have more room to work on your phones, computers, and gaming consoles.

Our new home will be over at 303 N. Cedar. We are working hard behind the scenes to get everything put together and will share more updates (and our official opening date) as soon as we can.

While we get the new space ready, please know that we are still fully open and operating out of our current downtown location for all your repair needs.

Thank you all for continuing to support local, and I cannot wait to welcome you to the new shop soon!

These bloated batteries can be a real hazard when they expand like this. We carefully extracted it and got the laptop set up with a high-quality replacement. Another device safely back in action!

Putting the finishing touches on a really special project today! 🤠
For the last couple of months, I’ve been hard at work digitizing and preserving classic Wild Bill Hickok Rodeo tapes from the '90s and early 2000s.

It’s been an incredible experience getting to save a piece of local history and seeing all this classic footage come back to life.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day Weekend Hours 🇺🇸

We want to wish everyone a safe and wonderful Memorial Day weekend! So that we can spend some time with family, we are adjusting hours for the holiday.

On Thursday, May 21st, we will be closing early at 3:00 PM. We will remain closed through the weekend as usual, and we will also be closed on Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day.

Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 26th. If you have a repair you need taken care of before the holiday, be sure to drop by early. Have a fantastic weekend, and let us remember and honor all those who have served. 🛠️✨

🏃‍♂️ Heading to Wamego!
Rik’s Reboot Tech Repair will be closing early today at 2:30 p.m. so we can head over to Wamego and cheer on our Abilene High School track team!

Help us make sure every kid gets to ride at the fair! 🎡✨
At Rik's Reboot Tech Repair, we love that the Central Kansas Free Fair is a local tradition where the gate is open to everyone. While the fair itself is free to attend, we know the cost of carnival ride wristbands can be a major hurdle for many families in our community.
This May, we are proud to support the Golden Ticket Fund at the Community Foundation of Dickinson County. For the entire month, 10% of all our shop proceeds will go directly to this fund to provide ride wristbands for local kids.
The Golden Ticket Fund makes sure that all children can enjoy the excitement of the carnival alongside their friends, regardless of their family’s budget. It is all about making sure every child feels like a full part of the community fun.

If your phone needs a screen repair, your computer needs a tune-up, or your console is acting up, bring it in this month. Your repair helps buy a "Golden Ticket" for a kid in Abilene this summer!
