BIRA SERVICE CENTER (COMMUNITY ICT CENTER)

To further address Socio-Development and ICT needs of local communities with an overall objective of providing employment and income generating services, reliable service delivery, improved livelihoods, better education and economic development, This day, we reached Consortium to establish a community service center at Bira next to the newly created Pakele Sub County Headquarters.

This service center will be a branch of Pakele Town Council Center (The Super Center)

In pictures our Managing Director, Procurement Officer, Senior staff and The Senior Assistant Chief Administrative officer (SACAO) Pakele.

Our sincere gratitude to Hon. Kenyi Welborn (The LC III Chairperson Pakele Sub County) and all the Councilors, Adjumani District Local Government under the umbrella of Pakele Sub County Local Government, The Sub County Chief Pakele, Sub County Staff and community of Bira. This center will better serve the Bira community, Boroli, Olua, Ayilo Refugee settlements, Lewa, Indriani among others.

We expect to have this community ICT Center operational before end of February 2022

In the near future, we expect to enroll similar centers at Adjumani Town Council, Dzaipi Sub County, and other sub counties within Adjumani, Moyo Town Council, Koboko district, Maracha district, Arua district and Arua City.

MISSION: ICT for improved Education, Service Delivery, Livelihoods and Economic development.

MOTIVATION: “Talent is equally distributed but opportunity is Not, if you give a youth Charity or cash, you help him/her for a day or may be a month but if you give them an opportunity to work or earn, you change their lives forever, Train them and Give work”

This day we reached partnership agreement with Light Academy Nursery and Primary School.

Light Academy is a few weeks old school from Nursery to Primary Seven located at Rasia East, Pachara Sub County, Adjumani District opposite Hotel Vintage, near Una Primary school and Mummies Care school.

Please meet Mure Emmanuel the Director who serves as headteacher at the same time. Mure commonly known as SudaUgandan is renown for exceptional performance, ideally at Homing Dove primary school and later Mother Thereza where he served as Headteacher producing exceptional number of first and best grades and equipping Learners with best education and Training.

He has also taught in very many primary schools within Adjumani.

Light Academy is well equipped with modern learning materials, Dormitory for boarding pupils, power system, reliable water, good learning environment, Highly qualified and motivated staff and of course best management.

We hope our partnership with them will definitely improve education service delivery in Adjumani district and Uganda as a whole and make this school exceptional both in performance and discipline.
