Evening Bible Verse
Jonah 3:6-8

The People of Nineveh Repent
[6] The word reached the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, removed his robe, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. [7] And he issued a proclamation and published through Nineveh, “By the decree of the king and his nobles: Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste anything. Let them not feed or drink water, [8] but let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and let them call out mightily to God. Let everyone turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands.

Evening Prayer
Dear Loving God and Creator of universe, we thank you for the gift of the Day. We thank you for the word in Jonah that when the king heard the message, he obeyed and we pray to grant us grace to obey your word, forgive, fast and turn away from our evil ways. We humble ourselves before you, confess and repent our sin this night. We also forgive those who have done wrong to us and release them in our hearts more so pray for them. Evening Bible verse
1 Corinthians 16:8-9

[8] But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost, [9] for a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.

Evening Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
As this day comes to an end, I thank You for Your grace that has carried me through every moment. Thank You for the opportunities You placed before me today—seen and unseen.
Lord, Your Word in 1 Corinthians 16:8-9 reminds me that You open doors—great and effective ones. I praise You for every door of blessing, growth, and purpose You are opening in my life. Teach me to recognize them and to walk through them with faith and obedience.
Father, I also acknowledge that where there are open doors, there can be challenges and opposition. Give me strength to stand firm. When I feel discouraged, remind me that You are with me. Let no fear, doubt, or enemy stop what You have planned for me.
Grant me wisdom to discern Your will, courage to act, and patience to trust Your timing. Help me not to shrink back, but to move forward boldly in the purpose You have prepared for me.
As I rest tonight, fill my heart with peace. Renew my strength for tomorrow. Protect me and my loved ones through the night, and let Your presence surround us.
I surrender every worry, every battle, and every open door into Your hands.
In Jesus mighty name,
Amen.

Titus 2:11-14

[11] For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, [12] training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, [13] waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, [14] who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.

Evening prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank You for Your grace that has appeared to all people, bringing salvation and hope to our lives. As this day comes to an end, we acknowledge that it is Your grace that has sustained us.
Lord, Your Word teaches us to say no to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age. Tonight, we ask for strength where we were weak, forgiveness where we failed, and grace to walk in righteousness.

Evening Bible Verse
Exodus 10:1-2

The Eighth Plague: Locusts

[1] Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants, that I may show these signs of mine among them, [2] and that you may tell in the hearing of your son and of your grandson how I have dealt harshly with the Egyptians and what signs I have done among them, that you may know that I am the LORD.”

Evening prayer
Dear Loving and Most Merciful and Heavenly Father, We come before You this evening with humble hearts, acknowledging that You are the Lord of all power and authority. As You spoke to Moses and revealed Your mighty works in Egypt, we recognize that Your hand is still strong today.
Lord, You said these things were done so that Your name would be declared and remembered from generation to generation. Tonight, we ask that Your works be evident in our lives, in our homes, and in our nation. Let our testimonies reflect Your greatness, so that our children and those around us may know that You are the Lord.
Father, where there is hardness of heart within us, soften us. Remove every spirit of pride, resistance, and disobedience. Teach us to walk in humility and obedience to Your Word.
Just as You displayed Your signs and wonders, we ask You to move in our situations. Fight our battles, deliver us from every bo***ge, and make Your power known in every area of our lives.
As we rest tonight, cover us with Your peace. Protect our families, renew our strength, and prepare us to walk in Your purpose tomorrow.
We declare that You are God, and beside You there is no other. May our lives always testify of Your goodness and faithfulness.
In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen.

Evening Bible Verse
Habakkuk 2:2-4

The Righteous Shall Live by His Faith

[2] And the LORD answered me:
“Write the vision;
make it plain on tablets,
so he may run who reads it.
[3] For still the vision awaits its appointed time;
it hastens to the end—it will not lie.
If it seems slow, wait for it;
it will surely come; it will not delay.
[4] “Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him,
but the righteous shall live by his faith.

Evening Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
As this day comes to an end, I come before You with a quiet heart, holding onto Your promise in Your Word. You have said that the vision awaits its appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it may linger, You have told us to wait for it, for it will surely come and will not delay.
Lord, in moments of waiting and uncertainty, strengthen my faith. Help me not to grow weary or discouraged when answers seem slow. Teach me to trust in Your perfect timing, knowing that every promise You have spoken will be fulfilled.
Your Word reminds me that the righteous shall live by faith. Tonight, I choose faith over fear, trust over doubt, and hope over anxiety. Guard my heart from pride and impatience, and fill me with humility and steadfastness.
As I rest, renew my strength and align my spirit with Your will. Let my life be anchored in faith, walking uprightly before You. Even in silence, help me to hear Your voice and find peace in Your presence.
Thank You, Lord, because Your plans are sure and Your timing is perfect.
In Jesus mighty name,
Amen.

Evening Bible verse
Luke 6:43-45

A Tree and Its Fruit

[43] “For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit, [44] for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush. [45] The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Evening prayer
Dear Loving and Most Merciful Gracious Father,
Thank You for bringing us safely to the end of this day. We are grateful for Your love, protection, and provision.
Lord, Your Word in Luke 6:43–45 reminds us that a good tree bears good fruit, and that the words we speak come from what fills our hearts. Tonight, we ask You to examine our hearts. Remove anything that is not of You—every evil thought, pride, anger, and bitterness.
Fill us, Lord, with goodness, truth, and love, so that our lives may bear fruit that pleases You. Help us to speak words that build others, encourage the weak, and bring glory to Your name.
Forgive us for the wrong things we have said or done today. Cleanse us and make our hearts pure. Teach us to guard our hearts carefully, so that what flows from us reflects Your righteousness.
As we rest tonight, grant us peace and calmness. Protect us and our families through the night. Renew our strength and prepare us for a new day to serve You faithfully.
We trust in You, Lord, and we thank You for Your unfailing love.
In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen.

Morning Bible verse
Jeremiah 23:5-8
[5] “Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. [6] In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. And this is the name by which he will be called: ‘The LORD is our righteousness.’
[7] “Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when they shall no longer say, ‘As the LORD lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’ [8] but ‘As the LORD lives who brought up and led the offspring of the house of Israel out of the north country and out of all the countries where he had driven them.’ Then they shall dwell in their own land.”

Morning Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank You for the gift of a new morning and for the breath of life You have given me. Lord, Your Word in Jeremiah 23:5–8 speaks of the righteous King You promised a Branch from David’s line who reigns with wisdom,
bringing justice, righteousness, and salvation.
I praise You for Jesus Christ,
our righteous Savior and King,
who gathers, protects, and leads His people in truth.
As I begin this day, help me to walk in righteousness, to act with justice, and to trust in Your saving power.
Remove fear and doubt from my heart, and fill me with confidence in Your promises, for You are faithful to restore, guide, and protect.
Lord, be my Shepherd today
lead me in the right path,
keep me safe from harm,
and help me to live as a testimony of Your grace.
May everything I do today
bring honor and glory to Your holy name.
In Jesus’ name I pray,
Amen.

Evening Bible Verse
Titus 3:1-3

Be Ready for Every Good Work

[1] Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, [2] to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people. [3] For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another.

Evening Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You this evening with a humble heart,
thanking You for Your goodness and mercy throughout this day.
Lord, Your Word in Titus 3:1–3 reminds me to be obedient,
to be ready for every good work,
to speak evil of no one,
to be peaceable, gentle, and full of humility.
Forgive me, Lord, for the times I have been disobedient, when I spoke wrongly,
or acted without kindness and grace.
You have shown me that I was once lost, foolish, and enslaved by wrong desires yet in Your love, You have saved me.
Tonight, cleanse my heart,
renew a right spirit within me,
and teach me to live in a way that pleases You.
Help me tomorrow to walk in obedience, to show gentleness to all people, and to be a light in this world.
May Your peace rest upon me as I sleep, and may Your grace guide me into a new day.
In Jesus mighty name I pray.
Amen.

Morning Bible verse
2 Chronicles 20:15-20

[15] And he said, “Listen, all Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: Thus says the LORD to you, ‘Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God’s. [16] Tomorrow go down against them. Behold, they will come up by the ascent of Ziz. You will find them at the end of the valley, east of the wilderness of Jeruel. [17] You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the LORD on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, and the LORD will be with you.”

[18] Then Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the LORD, worshiping the LORD. [19] And the Levites, of the Kohathites and the Korahites, stood up to praise the LORD, the God of Israel, with a very loud voice.

[20] And they rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. And when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the LORD your God, and you will be established; believe his prophets, and you will succeed.”

Morning Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You this morning with grateful hearts. Thank You for the gift of life and for waking us up to see a new day.
Lord, Your word tells us, “Do not be afraid or discouraged… for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” Today, we surrender every burden, every worry, and every challenge into Your hands.
Father, fight our battles the battles we cannot win on our own, the struggles that trouble our hearts, and the fears we carry inside.
Help us, Lord, to stand firm in faith, just as You commanded. Teach us to trust You completely and not to lean on our own understanding. As we go out today Give us courage instead of fear
Peace instead of anxiety
Strength instead of weakness
Lord, we choose to worship You even before we see our victory. We believe that You are already working on our behalf.
Guide our steps, protect us from harm, and lead us in all that we do today. We declare that this day belongs to You, and we shall see Your goodness in our lives.
In Jesus Mighty name we pray and believe.
Amen.

Evening Bible Verse
Luke 10:17-20

The Return of the Seventy-Two

[17] The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!” [18] And he said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. [19] Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. [20] Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

Evening Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
As this day comes to an end, I thank You for Your presence with me. Just as the disciples rejoiced in Your power, help me to remember that my greatest joy is not in what I do, but in belonging to You.
Lord, keep my heart humble. When I succeed, remind me that all good things come from You. When I struggle, remind me that You have already given me victory through Your love.
Write my name ever deeper in Your heart, and let me rest tonight in the assurance that I am Yours. Protect me through the night, calm my thoughts, and renew my strength for tomorrow.
May I walk in Your authority with humility, and in Your joy with gratitude.
In Jesus mighty name,
Amen.
