The following University safety tips can help you avoid dangerous situations while at campus.
1 . Know your way around campus,Know prohibited areas.
2 . Never walk alone at night.
3 . Utilize locks in your hostel rooms to avoid loosing your property to thieves.
4 . Carry some emergency cash with you whenever you move out of your hostel room.
5 . Locate the emergency system areas on campus like security personnel and fire extinguishers.
6 . Consider taking a self - defense course in case of any attack.
7 . Never stay at a party when your friend leaves.
8 . Avoid becoming inebriated and losing control to your friends.
9 . Always have emergency contacts on you or in your device ie your next of kin.
10. Don't’t allow technology to make you unaware of your surroundings
