Whereas some people use their salary to get into consumption debt to create unnecessary lifestyle impressions. Others use the same money to make productive investments in education, start ups and the like.
Salary aside, there's the more important aspect of time. Most corporate jobs only take 40 hours a week out of all the 168 hours in a week.
Meaning they'll take an average of 25% of your total time in a week. You're left with over 100 hours to invest in learning, networking and making investments outside of the 8-5.
This has been my greatest wake up call for the year. No more salary complaints. I'm just going to make the most of all I earn so I can do lots more with it.
