Citi –Micro Entrepreneurship Awards 2014/2015
Mr. Julius MUNENE is one among the 35 winners of the 2014/2015 Citi Micro-entrepreneurship Awards that recognize extraordinary Micro-entrepreneurs in Uganda, which was held on Wednesday, 20 April 2016 at Sheraton Hotel in Kampala, Uganda. The annual awards was organised by Citibank Uganda and The Association of Microfinance Institutions of Uganda (AMFIU). The Citi Microentrepreneurship Awards program is a signature initiative of the Citi Foundation aimed at raising awareness about the importance of microentrepreneurship and microfinance in supporting the financial inclusion and economic empowerment of low-income individuals. A "Microentrepreneur of the Year" is identified in each country and recognized for the extraordinary contributions that the microentrepreneur has made to the economic sustainability of their families as well as their communities.
