Its unbelievable, 8 years down the road,, I am excited for the next 7 years of ATIS, leading the export of IT and ITES services from TECH PEARL National Information Technology Authority - Uganda

At the End of Year Board Meeting of Alliance for Trade in Information-Technology and Services - ATIS held in Naalya, Kampala today, Japotech was represented by our Commercial Manager Joseph Kintu.

Japotech is a proud member of Alliance for Trade in Information-Technology and Services - ATIS which brings together Ugandan companies that pursue exporting of ICT services.

As we celebrate International Women's Day, it's important to recognize the significant role women play in the Digital Economy. This is especially true for rural women in Africa who face unique challenges in participating in this rapidly evolving ecosystem.

Reflections from the recent WTO/SheTrade High-Level Women in Digitial Economy Event.
While workshops and events can be helpful, glaring gaps still need to be addressed. The real challenge lies in developing native intelligent AIs that can be used by women of all ages, including grandmothers.

As innovators, it's our responsibility to create technology that is inclusive and accessible for everyone. By doing so, we can empower women in Africa and around the world to fully participate in the Digital Economy and unlock their full potential.

2024 WHAT is NEW AWlliance for Trade in Information-Technology and Services - ATIS. knowledge is the fuel for business. Vantage revels in its 7-year membership of ATIS as the Vice Chair. Yesterday was the first member's check-in for 2024. Members looked back at 2023 and made a bold plan for 2024. This year, ATIS will unveil the TECH Pearl, the IT destination for the brave in Africa. The TECH Pearl Expo shall profile and feature unique Ugandan innovations and technologies.

The twinning event, co-organized by Cluj IT and Alliance for Trade in Information-Technology and Services - ATIS is scheduled for November 3rd and will include a series of interesting pitching sessions for SMEs active in Romania and Uganda.

We are looking forward to hearing an interesting pitch from Data Care (U) Ltd. Data Care is an IT Consultancy firm that was established in July 2006 and has automated business processes for public and private agencies in Uganda as well as International agencies in Africa and beyond.
