Building the Future, One Conversation at a Time!

Sumic IT Solutions Ltd exhibited at the Digital Solutions Expo 2026 at the National ICT Innovation Hub, under the inspiring theme "Tech Made in Uganda — Built Live."

It was an exciting opportunity to showcase some of the innovative digital solutions we are building to address real-world challenges across Africa and beyond. Throughout the day, we welcomed visitors from diverse sectors, including entrepreneurs, students, government representatives, development partners, business leaders, and fellow innovators, who stopped by our booth to learn more about our work.

What stood out most wasn't just demonstrating technology, it was the conversations.

We had meaningful discussions around:

👉🏻 Software and mobile application development.

👉🏻 Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and digital employment.

SUMIC COHORT 9 – INDUSTRIAL TRAINING PROGRAM (JUNE – JULY 2026)

This cohort brings together ambitious students from some of Uganda's leading institutions, including:

The trainees are pursuing programs in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Business Computing, and will spend the coming weeks gaining hands-on industry experience through real-world projects, mentorship, innovation challenges, and exposure to modern digital technologies.

At Sumic IT Solutions Ltd, we believe that nurturing young talent is essential to building Africa's digital future.

Through our Industrial Training Program, students are given the opportunity to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry practice while developing technical, professional, and entrepreneurial skills that prepare them for the evolving technology landscape.
