Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the most sophisticated and expensive smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer, will be presented on February 22. Less than a week before the announcement, detailed specifications of the smartphone appeared, as well as official posters.
As in its predecessors, the main emphasis in Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be on photo capabilities: the rear module includes 4 sensors with a resolution of 50 megapixels. The main camera is represented by a top-end Sony LYT-900 image sensor. This is expected to be the first Xiaomi smartphone with two telephoto lenses.
Main characteristics of Xiaomi 14 Ultra:
Display: 6.73", 3200×1400, AMOLED, 120 Hz, brightness 3000 nits, HDR10+.
Processor: 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 3.3 GHz, Adreno 750.
Memory: 12/16 GB RAM LPDDR5X, 256/512/1024 GB custom UFS 4.0.
Cameras: main (50 MP, f/1.6, 8K@24fps), telephoto (50 MP, f/3.0, 3.2x), telephoto (50 MP, f/3.0, 5x), wide-angle ( 50 MP, f/1.8), selfie (32 MP).
Battery: 5300 mAh, fast wired charging (90 W), wireless charging (50 W).
Additionally: IP68 protection, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 modules, NFC, Dual SIM.
Another interesting thing: photographic equipment will allow the smartphone to record video at 8K@24fps and even 1080p@1920 frames per second (most likely with the participation of algorithms in completing the frames). The main image sensor belongs to the “inch class”, that is, its dimensions are close to 1 inch.
Also, in the leaked specifications there is no mention of a titanium frame, which was often mentioned by other sources. Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be sold in two colors - black and white, they will have a regular frame with aluminum edges. However, it is possible that the top configuration may get a titanium frame.
The estimated price of Xiaomi 14 Ultra in Europe will be 1,499 euros for the 16/512 GB version. Xiaomi 13 Ultra costs the same in Europe, but comes with 12 GB of RAM.
