“How much will it cost to build?”

Probably one of the first questions behind almost every software project, and one of the hardest to answer without knowing the details.

So we decided to make the first step a little easier.

We’ve just launched the DeepInspire Software Project Cost Calculator. Answer a few quick questions about what you’re planning to build, and you’ll get an instant ballpark estimate of the project cost and timeline.

No email required, no sales call needed – just a quick way to understand the scale of investment you might be looking at.

Of course, no calculator can replace a proper discovery process. But it can tell you whether the idea in your head is closer to a $50K project or a $500K one – and that’s already a useful place to start.

Try it here: https://deepinspire.com/software-cost-calculator

And since it’s brand new, we’d genuinely love some feedback. Give it a try, play around with different project scenarios, and let us know what you think.

Technical debt in fintech becomes expensive long before anything actually breaks.

You usually notice it somewhere else first: a relatively small product change suddenly needs weeks of work, a new integration touches unexpected parts of the system, or a straightforward compliance requirement turns into a much bigger engineering effort.

The platform may still be stable and customers may not see any obvious problem, but the cost of change keeps increasing. Launching a new product, entering another market, connecting a new provider or adapting to new regulations starts taking more time and effort than the business expects.

At that point, technical debt is no longer just about code quality or architecture. It starts affecting how quickly the company can respond to opportunities and move the product forward.

This doesn’t mean every piece of legacy code needs to be rewritten. What matters is understanding where technical debt is creating real friction for the business and addressing those areas before they become a constraint on growth.

We explore this in more detail in our latest article, including practical examples of how to manage it: https://deepinspire.com/blog/how-to-manage-technical-debt-in-fintech-types-and-examples

What if AI could help organisations see a crisis coming before it escalates?

That was the ambition behind a new crisis intelligence platform we helped shape for enterprises and government organisations in Saudi Arabia.

The product brings together crisis prediction, strategic intelligence, reputation management, and decision support in one AI-powered environment.

Our role was to turn a complex vision into a clear, buildable product: define the strategy and workflows, work through enterprise UX and Arabic-first localisation, address governance and compliance requirements, and create a high-fidelity prototype for investors and strategic stakeholders.

We’ve just published a new case study on enterprise data integration for a leading European energy and mobility company.

Behind every smooth ERP transition, there is usually a complex integration layer keeping critical data moving. That was exactly the challenge for one of our enterprise clients.

The company was rolling out a modern ERP, while critical operational data still lived in a specialised legacy platform used across the fuel and oil trading industry.

DeepInspire team built a mission-critical integration and monitoring platform that enabled secure, high-volume data synchronisation between core enterprise systems.

The solution gave the client full visibility into sync status, data validation, discrepancies, and audit trails - while supporting a phased ERP rollout without disrupting daily operations.

It also reduced manual monitoring and helped process high-volume synchronisation jobs, including requests involving 300,000+ records.

What does it really take to build a Payment Service Provider (PSP)?

A PSP sits at the intersection of technology, compliance, risk, banking relationships, and merchant operations.

Building one means making decisions around licensing, PCI DSS, acquiring partnerships, transaction routing, fraud monitoring, reconciliation, merchant onboarding, and long-term scalability.

In our new guide, we break down what it really takes to start a payment processing company in 2026, including:

→ PSP vs payment gateway vs payment processor
→ when building your own PSP makes business sense
→ key licensing and compliance requirements
→ core payment gateway components
→ build vs white-label vs hybrid models
→ realistic cost expectations
→ the step-by-step path from idea to launch

“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now”. The more we talk about AI and legacy systems, the more this old saying comes to mind.

Many companies are looking at the products and platforms they already have and thinking: “Can we just add AI to this?”

And honestly, it’s a very natural question.
AI can improve workflows, help teams move faster, automate decisions, analyse data, and create real business value.

But from what we see in practice, it usually doesn’t work as a simple add-on.

If the architecture is fragile, the data is messy, the integrations are unstable, or the business logic is hidden in old code and manual workarounds, AI will only expose these problems faster.

Before AI can create real value, the system often needs some work behind the scenes.

That doesn’t always mean rebuilding everything from scratch. Improving data quality or modernising the parts that create the biggest bottlenecks can already make a big difference.

The companies that invested in clean architecture and good data years ago are in a better position today.

But for everyone else, it’s not too late.

The second best time to prepare your system for AI is now.

Technical monitoring tells fintech teams whether systems are available.

Business observability helps them understand whether the product is performing as expected at the level of real business activity.

That difference matters.

- a payment may be technically processed, but delayed enough to affect conversion
- a KYC flow may work correctly, but still create too much friction for users
- a trading platform may remain available, while ex*****on quality changes
- settlement data may be present, but not fully aligned across systems

In fintech, these signals are closely connected to revenue, risk, operations, and user experience.

In our latest article, we explain what business observability means for fintech companies and how teams can apply it to critical flows such as payments, onboarding, trading, settlements, and KPI dashboards.

We’re excited to share a new case study!

Risk teams are under growing pressure to process more information and respond faster to emerging threats.

In our latest case study, we share how DeepInspire helped a Switzerland-based AI company build an AI-powered risk management platform for leading financial institutions.

The platform combines generative AI with large-scale financial datasets to help investment, risk, and compliance teams identify emerging risks and make faster, more informed decisions.
