Digital security is not about turnstiles, but about managed business processes. For MHP, we combined access control into a single scalable U-PROX system with ERP integration.

MHP is a leading international food and agrotechnology company headquartered in Kyiv with production facilities in Ukraine, Spain, and Southeast Europe.

Before implementing the solution, the company worked with a distributed ACS system: separate servers in departments created significant operational challenges — staff attendance records remained subjective, manual access control increased risks due to the human factor, synchronising access during dismissals, holidays or maternity leave was time-consuming, and the lack of a single standard made it difficult to scale the system.

From now on, U-PROX Siren and U-PROX Siren Outdoor indoor and outdoor sirens have a new feature — the ability to precisely control which sensors the siren should respond to within the permitted groups.

Previously, the scenario often looked like this: the siren responds “by group” — and this is sometimes too much.

Now you can configure the logic similarly to a relay:
1. Select the group where the siren operates
2. Additionally, set a “zone mask” (which sensors the siren should respond to).

What does this give installers and partners?
- more accurate segmentation of the object (warehouse/technical area/entrance group)
- easier to scale the system when adding new sensors
- clear logic: “group = area”, “zone mask = filter”

Important: the zone mask applies to the entire siren, so the system's behavior remains stable and predictable.

On January 22, a landmark event for the Ukrainian security market, “Security Synergy,” organized by our partners Viatec took place in Kyiv, at which U-PROX brand manager Mykola Shevchenko gave a presentation entitled “Solutions in Action: Practical Implementation of Projects.”

The main idea of his speech was that every effective solution begins not simply with the selection of equipment, but with a deep understanding of the customer's task and an analysis of their business processes.

Successful implementation is the result of the right choice and a thoughtful approach, not just a comparison of technical parameters.

Mykola demonstrated successfully implemented cases with a brief analysis of the tasks that were solved for customers.

In addition, the event featured the presentation of the Security Awards 2025, which recognizes projects that are shaping the future of the security industry.

U-PROX presented its own special award, “Smart Access Innovation,” focused on the most innovative approaches in the field of access control.

The winner was a large-scale project to integrate the U-PROX ACS with the internal ERP system for MHP an international company in the field of food and agricultural technologies.

The implementation of this project allowed MHP to fully automate working time accounting through integration with a single personnel management system (ERP). Personnel synchronization was also implemented from the central ERP server for many structural units in a distributed system with separate ACS servers.

Thanks to the introduction of biometric terminals, the company replaced subjective assessments with objective data, which not only helped to enhance security, but also significantly improved discipline and optimized the company's resources.

We have improved the operation of U-PPROX Smoke fire detectors in the U-PROX Home app – now users can quickly turn off the alarm sound and temporarily suspend the detector's response for 10 minutes.

How the function works:
- when U-PPROX Smoke is triggered, a new option, “Turn off alarm sound,” appears in the U-PROX Home app.

- after pressing it, a warning window appears: “You are turning off the sensor response for 10 minutes. Yes/No?”

This allows the user to quickly respond to everyday smoke incidents, such as a frying pan, cigarette, etc., without completely disabling the sensor and compromising the overall security of the facility.

It is a convenient all-in-one tool for independent system configuration and management:
