🌳Since 2019, our specialists have been developing accounting systems for urban plantings, which help to systematically work on the support and development of urban landscaping and greening.
🌲The inventory of trees and landscaping remains one of the important tasks of the system. In order to speed up inventory and update data, a mobile application was additionally created. In this way, city officials were able to more widely involve volunteer citizens in the process, who help to more quickly enter data about urban plantation into the system.
🌳Of course, the war brought changes to the information needs of Ukrainian cities, but we believe that when peace returns to our common home, the restoration of urban gardens and parks will become an important component of urban planning.

Our specialists have developed a metadata widget that is immediately available in the GIS editor and allows you to create metadata for datasets right in the editor window while working with the data.
Now users can:

Our developers have presented an update to the search that will be used on SOFTPRO geoportals.

Now users can use 4 types of search.

This is a search for the necessary place by the name of the city and street, a search for a land plot by cadastral number, a search for settlements by their ATU code, and a reliable search by the local address register.

The results of the year are usually summed up in December, but the year 2022 brought corrections to the Ukrainian calendar. Just like a year ago, we are stubbornly making plans for the future, realizing that the enemy is still hunting them. Our embodied aspirations are bricks in the stability of Ukraine in such a difficult time.

2022 started nervously. We stubbornly held on to the realization of the absurdity of open aggression and its consequences. Since the invasion, of course, we have joined the social wave of resistance and mutual aid.

We immediately joined the information resistance. We helped clients quickly block access to public geoportals in the early days so that the enemy did not have access to relevant localized cartographic materials. None of us will forget how in the first weeks, in addition to military resistance, citizens actively dismantled address tables and road signs along highways and streets for additional disorientation of the enemy in active combat zones and potential sabotage groups in the rear.

The daily news about shelling and bombardment of cities was absorbed with sinking hearts. We were all angry and rallied. When the situation in Mariupol became critical, we joined the creation of effective tools for collecting and recording data on the destruction caused. We continue to work on this in the new year.

For 4 years, we have been working on the development of Mykolaiv GIS. When its cozy streets began to be shelled every day, we immediately got involved in creating tools for quality data collection on the damage caused. Mykolaiv was not captured by the enemy and had its own GIS before the invasion. That is why the Mykolaiv City Council was the first in Ukraine to implement a fairly detailed tool for assessing the damage caused by the war.

We supported clients in the development of local urban cadastre systems in rear cities and towns. We have prepared updates for customers who have been using our developments for a long time and maintain the information infrastructure in an up-to-date state.

The presentation of the Report on the assessment of damages and key needs of Mykolaiv took place on December 16.

"For the past four years, Mykolaiv has been developing a modern geoinformation system together with the SOFTPRO company. In simple words, this is a highly detailed map of the city, on which various "layers" with the necessary information are then superimposed. For example, the condition and age of communications, buildings, cell towers, etc. It is with the help of GIS that we record the damage caused to the city by the attacks of russian terrorists," the mayor said.

After the full-scale invasion of the Russian army and the moment of close cooperation with the Danish government and EU Anti-corruption Initiative (EUACI), officials asked to fund the development of an additional GIS “layer” with data on the destruction

"I want to note that Mykolaiv is among the leaders in terms of digital readiness for recording and assessing destruction. Unfortunately, this situation is not everywhere, - says the head of the "Russia will pay" project Maksym Nefyodov. - The goal of our project is to provide high-quality analytics and perform verification, to help find errors in manual information entry that occurs in wartime conditions. And, of course, we want to have a high-quality evidence base both for potential trials against the military aggressor and for compensation for damages caused to cities, businesses, and citizens. In addition, such information will become the basis for the creation of post-war recovery plans.

Since the full-scale invasion of the russian occupation forces, Mykolaiv was forced to become the frontier of the Ukrainian south, stopping the movement of invaders from the occupied Kherson region. This fantastic community cohesion comes at a high price. It is Mykolaiv Oblast that has been under a heavy hail of enemy shelling every day for the eleventh month from the territories of the occupied Crimea, Kherson region and the Black Sea.

High level of damage required special attention to their fixation and accounting. Thus, the local authorities immediately began large-scale work on the creation and filling of the destruction accounting system.

Our experts primarily focused their efforts on the development of functionality for accounting for damage and destroyed objects in accordance with the requirements of the newly created regulatory documentation. The system is designed to help specialists not only to keep records of destruction, but also to create commission inspection reports, to record reconstruction and restoration projects. For wider involvement of benefactors, investors and donors in the restoration of the city, the public part of the portal will contain a version in English.

The project is implemented with the support of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine (EUACI), financed by the EU, co-financed and implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. The creation of such a system should ensure the maximum coverage and uniform quality of data collection, which will immediately become suitable for use in assessments and calculations of recovery measures.
