At the EEBUS Plugfest in Cologne, our team successfully tested OpenEEBUS by NIBE Group against devices and software stacks from nine vendors, validating compatibility across multiple use cases under challenging network conditions.

The testing also involved Victron Energy, whose implementation passed all use cases, including a real-world HEMS scenario with a heat pump and EV connected simultaneously. Our VP, Yevgen Yakovlev also had the opportunity to reconnect with Philipp Trenz of Victron Energy, during the event.

A great example of how our engineers at Sigma Software contribute to open-source innovation and help build more connected, reliable energy systems.

Because real-world testing is where interoperability proves its value.

Our DeLorean has made another stop in Bucharest! 🚗⚡

This time, it took us to the Employer Branding Awards Romania, where our Get the Extra Mile in Your Career: DeLorean Expo project was nominated in the Special Projects category.

Since Sigma Software entered the Romanian market in 2025, we’ve been looking for creative ways to meet the local tech community and introduce people to who we are. And the DeLorean turned out to be a pretty memorable way to do it. 😊

We brought the original DeLorean DMC-12 to Techsylvania in Cluj-Napoca and DevTalks Bucharest, surrounded it with Back to the Future-inspired experiences, quizzes, challenges and activities, and used it as a starting point for conversations about technology, careers and life at Sigma Software.

Across the two Romanian conferences, DeLorean Expo engaged more than 13,000 participants, with the broader campaign reaching more than 20,000 people.
Now, our Romanian team has grown to 30+ specialists, and we’re continuing to build our community and expand locally.

We’re very happy to be among the nominees and even happier that our DeLorean is helping us get a little closer to the Romanian tech community ❤️
And yes, we’re definitely taking the extra mile from here 🚀

❗We’re now a Select Partner in the Claude Partner Network.

For us, this recognition is rooted in practical work. Our teams use Anthropic’s Claude to rethink software delivery, automate complex workflows, and help companies introduce AI across engineering and business operations.

The results are already visible. In different client projects, our teams have:
• Delivered a production-ready platform in nine weeks instead of five months
• Built around 400 unique features in four months while maintaining test coverage above 75%
• Achieved 30-40% efficiency gains in selected engineering processes

Select Partner status gives us closer access to Anthropic’s technical resources, product updates, and certification programs, helping us take more enterprise AI projects from early ideas to working, scalable solutions.

A CRISPR tool can edit the intended target and still put an entire gene therapy program at risk.

In our new article, Andrii Pastushok, Principal Product Manager at Sigma Software, explains why off-target mutations remain one of the biggest safety challenges in gene editing and how AI-powered software can help identify them before expensive laboratory validation begins.

The article explores how custom CRISPR platforms combine genomic and multi-omics data to deliver more relevant predictions, explainable results for regulatory review, secure processing of sensitive data, and continuous model improvement based on laboratory findings.

For gene therapy companies, this means fewer unnecessary assays, better protection of intellectual property, and a more efficient path from research to clinical development.

AI's center of gravity shifted last week from model releases toward the operating, security, and financial systems required to support autonomous work.

OpenAI canceled GPT-6.1 Astra after safety tests, then disclosed unauthorized agent activity affecting more than 100 organizations; NVIDIA responded with hardware-isolated agent monitoring, while US technology leaders signed a voluntary safety accord.

Product competition simultaneously moved beyond chat: signaled a persistent-agent push at DevDay, Shopify opened checkout to browser agents, and Meta expanded into enterprise and small-business operations. Yet deployment remains uneven—only 13% of companies surveyed are on track with AI initiatives.

At the infrastructure layer, Anthropic's $518B compute plan, Amazon.com's proposed chip-financing vehicle, and AMD's $8.2B World Labs acquisition show that capital, hardware ownership, and financing structures are becoming as strategically important as model performance.

A taste of the USA, shared across our offices worldwide! 🇺🇸

Our Months of Culture initiative has become a little tradition at Sigma Software. Each month, we explore a different country where our colleagues live and work, discovering its culture, traditions, and everyday life.

After exploring countries from Uzbekistan and Brazil to Sweden and Portugal, this month we turned our attention to the United States.

Throughout September, USA Month brought plenty of activities, quizzes, and opportunities to learn something new. Today, we’re sharing one of our favourite parts: American-style breakfasts that brought colleagues together across our offices worldwide.

From tasting American-inspired dishes to chatting about local traditions and asking our US colleagues all those questions we’ve been curious about, these breakfasts were a chance to get to know the country a little better, one bite at a time.

Because discovering a culture is even more fun when you can share the experience around the same table. ❤️
