Apple intends to release a simplified version of its Vision Pro mixed reality headset. At the same time, its price is to be reduced from $3,500 (127,643 UAH) to $1,500-2,000 (54704-72939 UAH), Bloomberg reports.
The tech giant thinks it will be able to create a replacement for smartphones and computers. To reduce the price tag, one of the key features - EyeSight - will be removed. It is about projecting eyes on an external display. It means visualization on the external screen if the eyes are directed outward through the camera.
In general, Vision can get a weaker chip, lower resolution screens, and a reduced number of cameras and sensors. The original has 12 cameras. In addition, there is a possibility that the company will opt for a simplified design and body material.
