2. Kuwe na mwanga wa kutosha wa jua kwa mchana au tumia taa zenye mwanga mweupe, energy server kuanzia 40W au tube light kubwa, mwanga uwe wa kutosha au taa maalum za mezani za kujisomea.

3. Hakikisha kuna zana za kujifunzia k**a Vitabu, Madaftari, Kalamu, Penseli, Ufutio, kichongeo, rula, karatazi za mazoezi, Compas, Maths table (Four-figure), Saa, calculator, Dictionary, summary book etc.

4. Hakikisha una ratiba ya masomo kwa siku, wiki na kwa mwezi. Kwenye ratiba yako kuwe na muda wa kujisomea vitabu vya ziada, vitabu vya hadithi, novels na magazeti hasa ya Kiingereza.

5. Hakikisha unatunza mitihani yako yote iliyopita, pia unakuwa na mitihani ya miaka iliyotangulia.

6. Kuwe na muda wa kujifunza kutumia Computer kujifunza program mbalimbali k**a Word Editor, Excel, Power point, Publisher, Email etc.

7. Mwanafunzi awe na ratiba maalum ya kuangalia vipindi vya TV hasa Taarifa na Habari, Vipindi vya Bunge na hotuba za viongozi wa kitaifa na Vipindi vya kutoa elimu kwa jamii.

8. Weka vitu vya kula au kutafuna mbali na chumba cha kujisomea.
