Since 2008, Trinidad & Tobago 🇹🇹 has become my second home, just over 8,400 miles from Madagascar 🇲🇬 where I grew up. Trinidad & Tobago is the southernmost island of many others, in this paradise region called the Caribbean.🌴🌴 For me, the Caribbean is full of colour, intensity, spectacular landscapes, breathtaking sunsets, fun-loving people and so much more.
🙏🏿 This series “Chasing The Caribbean” is my way of paying tribute to island life and the exceptional beauty of everyday moments.

When we were thinking about what the cover could be, for me It was an obvious choice. We would see Dennise and Richard exactly as in this picture, everytime same spot, on Maracas beach on a random early Sunday morning.

😅 finally made it back here! I meant to post these last year but It's better late than never especially when it's a logo design for a beautiful boutique hotel in Saint Martin. It's one thing when a client is happy with the design on screen but when it's actual embroidered and also applied on a building sign it's magical 🤩🤩.

It's been a minute. I don't recall the last time I was this busy but I can't complain at all. Between a Book design, 2 branding identity design, 2 websites, promotional graphics for a film festival, and an ongoing marketing retainer for an awesome skincare brand, the past two months were nothing short of excitements, rejections (yes! it's part of the job) and accomplishments.
I'll share more soon but in the meantime check out website that I redesigned in conjunction with her participation to the Atlantic World Art Fair 2022.

A quick post on the fly:
Always think of it as a long term investment, same as acquiring real estate because Your brand will save you. Not how cheap your products or services are.
Problem is that it takes time to get there. Major brands took years and millions to achieve global recognition.
So relax (note to self) you'll be fine.

So this happened!🤩 and I'm proud to share this one with you. "MAPS OF TRINIDAD & TOBAGO" is out! Researched and compiled by David Montgomery. It features 159 maps including very rare maps dated as far as the 12th Century.

MARKETING is virtually everything a company does whether conscious of it or not, from the logo on its letterhead to what the staffs wears & even to whether the uniformed personnel keep their shirts tucked in. Marketing even spans across all aspects of the business, and across all customer contact points including how your team members answer the phone, to every email that leaves the office, to a conversation in a hallway, even the comments you make in online forums, the speed of your computers, the presentation of your website, how you manage your customers including the efficiency and kindness employed when a customer calls with a question or complaint and potentially even the car that you drive has an impact on your customer and is a marketing opportunity...
