Last week was no ordinary week for kids in the Carenage community!

Our Carenage Access Centre hosted its first-ever Youth Entrepreneurship Week from 12-17th December, for children ages 10-15.

They closed off the week with an Open Market, where the young entrepreneurs sold a variety of products that they made themselves - fruit chows, geera, homemade juices and sweet boxes 🥭🧁🧃

The workshop was facilitated by LXE League of Extraordinary Entrepreneurs , and each entrepreneur will receive a Certificate of Participation!

Hats off to these budding business moguls! 👏🏽👏🏽

With the world's ever evolving technological landscape, we need to ensure that all our citizens are equipped with the right tools and skills to evolve along with it. ADigitalSociety 🙌🏼

On December 2nd, we commemorate World Computer Literacy Day, to bring awareness and drive digital literacy to all corners of the globe.

Right here in our Access Centres, in ICT-underserved areas across TT 🇹🇹, computer literacy has been at the heart of enhancing the capabilities and lives of those we serve.

Here's a snapshot from the Guayaguayare Access Centre, where members of the community are learning how to use computers, applications, the internet and more. 👨‍💻👩‍💻

The ongoing workshop is being held in collaboration with Stork Stork Technical Services Ltd , the Guayaguayare Council and members of Business and Technology Development Centre Ltd. 👏👏

As we learn together, we all help to build a brighter .

Belle Vue Sees a Bright Ahead

“This Centre is not a young people thing, it is there for everyone!” Minister of Digital Transformation, Senator the Honourable Hassel Bacchus, speaking at the official opening ceremony of the thirteenth ICT Access Centre, located inside the Belle Vue/Dibe/Dundonald Hill Community Centre, said to all in attendance to “make use of the Centre, it is there for you.”

The ICT Access Centre and Community Centre were opened on Wednesday November 23, 2022, as part of our ongoing partnership with the Ministry of Sport and Community Developmentnt.

So happy to welcome Belle Vue/Dibe/Dundonald Hill communities to our Access TT family!!
