🏁 An Outstanding Performance by St Mary's College at the Boxcart Intercol! 🏁

What an incredible day for our talented Boxcart Teams at the Boxcart Intercol held at the Arima Velodrome!

We are proud to announce that our teams dominated the competition, securing four of the Top 5 positions in the Knockout Challenge for the Fastest Cart:

🥇 1st Place – Box Lunch Killas
🥉 3rd Place – Hot Wheelz (LUGE)
🏅 4th Place – Whopper Wagon
🏅 5th Place – Julius Cheeser

The overall competition results will be announced once the written portfolios have been assessed and all marks have been tallied. We eagerly await the final standings!

Adding to this remarkable achievement, St Mary's College swept all three sponsor awards:

Our Drone Racing Club learning the basics of soldering to repair their drones in the event of a crash!

Today Mr. Andre Crichlow - CEO at the Gravity Racing Association of Trinidad and Tobago visited St Mary's College and presented Mr. Louis R. Ramdhanie with a cheque for seed money towards the next Inter-School Gravity Racing event to be held on November 28th 2025 at the Arima Velodrome.

Students raise funds, design and build these carts themselves. The seed money is a great initiative and helps to purchase some of the material and equipment needed.

This morning our students had the opportunity to view a couple of FPV Drones close-up.

In addition to Robotics and Box Cart Racing the St Mary's College Computer Society will be adding Drone Racing to the list of activities offered by the Club.
