*NEW CHANGES IN RESIDENT PERMIT APPLICATION IN ISTANBUL*

The residence permit application files of all foreigners who have applied for a residence permit in Istanbul and have an appointment between 01.06.2020-17.08.2020 will be received by post/cargo. Foreigners will send their residence permit application files by post/cargo (e-residence application/registration form and other documents based on the application) to the district migration working groups to which they applied.

*WHAT TO DO:*

1. The assessment of the residence permit application will start from the date the application file reaches district migration working group (The address of the district migration working group to which the application is made, is located on the e-residence application form)

2. The application file can be sent by registered mail via PTT or via other cargo companies.

3. The basic documents that need to be added to the application file are specified in the e-residence application/registration form according to the type of residence permit, and additional information and documents may be requested after the assessment to be made by the management.
