You're paying for cloud resources you forgot existed, and your CFO is going to find them before you do.

On June 30, Kloia and IBM are running a free 30-minute session on cloud cost visibility.

On the agenda:

Where the money is leaking and why nobody noticed
The waste you can cut today without touching your delivery pipeline
Getting finance and engineering to agree on something for once
Making cost data useful instead of just depressing

Live demo included. Free to attend.

Everyone asks "HiveMQ or AWS IoT Core?"

AWS IoT Core is for teams that want to ship fast and stay in the AWS ecosystem. HiveMQ is for teams where data residency, offline operation, and infrastructure control are not optional. Most production setups we see end up using both.

Pick the one that fits your architecture, not the one that wins a blog comparison.

Most AI coding tools let you type a prompt, hope for the best, and deal with the consequences later.

Kiro takes a different approach: you write the spec first, and the AI actually has something useful to work from.

Not a vague instruction you typed in 30 seconds.

A real description of what the feature should do, how it should behave, and what counts as broken.

Turns out that matters quite a bit when you're the one reviewing the output at 11pm.

Ata Ağrı (AI Champion at kloia) is going live on June 10th to walk through spec-driven development with Kiro from start to finish.

45 minutes. Free. Online. No slides that could've been an email.

MCP vs Bash:
The internet picked the wrong fight

The debate started when Garry Tan called MCP barely functional and Armin Ronacher said most MCP servers shouldn't exist. They have a point, because naive MCP setups are burning context windows and budgets before the agent reads a single message. But throwing out the protocol entirely is also wrong. The answer depends on one question nobody is asking: who is actually managing your context boundary right now, you or your default config?

We are an Anthropic Bedrock Partner, and here's what that actually means.

If you're an AWS customer trying to build something real with AI; not a demo, not a proof of concept that dies in a slide deck, you can access Anthropic's models through your existing AWS environment via Amazon Bedrock.
Same contracts, same invoicing, just with actual engineering support alongside it.

We handle the architecture, the implementation, and the resell. Most partners can't do that last part, but we can.
Which means you get the same cost (or less) with people who've seen your problem before. Not a help desk.

Why Anthropic? Because how they build lines up with how we build. Carefully, with some awareness that things can go wrong.
The technology is rarely the bottleneck. Figuring out where it fits, and what to leave alone, usually is.

If you're in the "we need to do something with AI but not sure what" phase, let's talk. No pitch deck.

Migrating legacy VMs to containers overnight is a great PowerPoint slide, but a terrible reality.

Running traditional virtualization next to EKS is a massive headache.

Honestly, you don't actually have to rewrite everything just to get it into the cloud-native ecosystem. By running KubeVirt on EKS, you can bring those stubborn legacy VMs straight into your Kubernetes clusters and manage them right next to your containers.

Your default k6 dashboard is mostly just lying to you.

Obviously, we all love seeing green charts right before a big release.
So we run a quick load test, check the default aggregates, and assume the system is completely safe.

But here is the catch: Production traffic doesn't care about a clean default dashboard. If you aren't tracking custom trends, rates, and counters across both the protocol and browser levels, you are basically just guessing.

We put together a straightforward guideline explaining how to actually interpret these k6 metrics and configure your output types properly to get real data.

Check out the full guide here: https://www.kloia.com/blog/k6-report-guideline-understanding-metrics-and-output-types

So, are you actually customizing your performance reports, or are you just crossing your fingers and trusting the default numbers?

Three days. Constant rain. Half the activities crossed off the list. Still one of the best offsites we've had.

When you work distributed, some in different cities, some abroad, all in different Slack timezones, you forget what it's like to actually be in the same room. As usual though, loud. Opinionated. Funnier than expected. Hard to replicate on a Slack call.

We talked about work, where the industry is heading and where we're probably wrong about it. Shared what we've been building, AI projects, new technologies, what worked and what didn't. We played games that got oddly competitive for a group of people who debug production systems for a living. We sat around and did nothing useful and that was somehow the most useful part.

The rain cancelled the outdoor stuff. Nobody really cared.
See you at the next one. Bring a jacket.

We call it an AI Gateway. You can call it “the thing we should have built six months ago.”

Three providers, five accounts, one invoice that explains nothing.
Idle endpoints billing whether traffic flows or not.
ROI measurement? Next quarter. Still.

One gateway, every cost attributed, no invoice surprises.

We start with an AI Cost Assessment.
If the problem is smaller than you think, we’ll be the first to say so.

Is MCP really the answer for AI agents, or did we just buy into the hype? 🤔

At kloia, we don't blindly follow the hype. We try things, we break things, and we share what we actually learned.

That's exactly what our AI Champion Ata Ağrı will be doing at AWS Community Day Türkiye 2026 with his talk:
✨ "MCP was a mistake. Bash is better. Or is it?"

📅 9 May 2026
🕐 13:30 - 13:45 | Track 2
📍 Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent

Come challenge the take, or get challenged. See you on Track 2! 🚀
