On Friday we got a sneak peak of the soon to be launched BIS Innovation Hub Eurosystem Centre. The event explored the strengths of the innovation happening in the national central banks of the Eurosystem.

It was great to see staff of the Eurosystem central banks join the webinar and ask questions to our General Manager Agustín Carstens, President Christine Lagarde , Deutsche Bundesbank President Jens Weidmann and Banque de France Governor François Villeroy de Galhau.

Looking forward to the work will be held next year on exciting topics such as green finance, cyber security, central bank digital currencies, suptech & regtech, and next generation financial market infrastructures.
