As we delved into the defining attributes of a Data Scientist, Ramsis generously shared his expertise and offered us valuable insights acquired through his own experiences. His response was as follows:

From a professional perspective, I don’t think there is a fixed pattern to being a great data scientist. Each has his own unique point of view and different approaches to being labeled as a highly accomplished data scientist. From my humble point of view, it’s surrounding three points:

1.To solve a Data Science problem, it is important to approach it from different angles and ask various questions. This helps in understanding the problem in depth and identifying the best possible solution. A great data scientist should be curious, open-minded, and willing to explore different avenues. They should be able to identify and use the right tools and techniques to extract insights from the data and communicate the results effectively.

2.Data, a great source of information, and giving the right attention to this is important: Data is the backbone of Data Science. A great data scientist should be able to collect, clean, and transform data effectively to extract insights. They should also be able to identify the right data sources and use them effectively to generate value. Paying attention to the quality, accuracy, and reliability of the data is crucial for making informed decisions.

3.Being able to transform technical work into a story-telling slideshow for stakeholders: A great data scientist should not only be technically proficient but also have excellent communication skills. They should be able to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely. They should be able to tell a story with the data and use visualization tools effectively to communicate insights. This helps in getting buy-in from stakeholders and driving business value.

Described as a creative, curious, and proactive individual, Takwa thrives on pushing boundaries and achieving success. With a strong sense of self-identity, she believes her work is an extension of her innermost being. She takes pride in her ability to translate her vision and implement creativity with technology.

As a dedicated UI/UX designer, Takwa faces complex challenges on a daily basis, relying on her creativity and determination to overcome obstacles and produce exceptional results.

Now, she looks forward to expanding her skill set and taking on new professional challenges as a part of the innovative team at Cyber Division.

Upon our inquiry about what qualities define a great Product Manager, Anis our “Inspirational Leader” award-winner generously imparted his wisdom and offered valuable insights through his experience.

• Strong facilitation skills: A great Product Manager is able to facilitate meetings and discussions effectively, ensure that all team members have an opportunity to contribute and that the decisions are made collaboratively 
• Customer Focus: A great product manager is always focused on the needs and desires of the customer and is constantly looking to understand their sensitivities, preferences, and behaviors. They use these insights to inform product decisions and ensure that the product meets the needs of its target audience.
• Technical expertise: A great Product Manager has a strong understanding of the product's technical aspects and can work closely with development teams to ensure that the product is built to specification and on schedule. They can identify technical risks and make sound decisions based on technical considerations.
• Leadership skills: A great Product Manager is a strong leader who is able to inspire and motivate their team to achieve the product's goals. They are able to set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for their work while fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
• Strong communication skills: A great product Manager is an effective communicator who is able to convey information clearly, ideas, and plans to stakeholders including the team, and product owner.

How are the new job and our company lining up to your initial expectations?

The team I’m working with is highly skilled, supportive, and lovely. The projects I am working on are challenging and stimulating. The company’s positive and inclusive culture emphasizes professional development and growth. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this team. Overall, I am very satisfied with my decision to join this company.

My impression of the company has been overwhelmingly positive since I first interviewed for the position. It is exactly how I imagined it to be.

How do you feel within your team?

I am very happy with my team. It has a great spirit; everyone is supportive and works well together. The team members are like a family to me, which makes me motivated and energized.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for luxury brands and a strong understanding of the social media landscape with at least two years of experience. You should have excellent written and oral communication skills, and experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools is a plus.
