A foreign customer brought in an iPhone 16 Pro Max to have the screen replaced. The next day, they returned saying the screen was cracked and they didn't know what was wrong. We checked and found the screen was broken. We explained that we offer a one-month warranty.

The warranty conditions state that the screen damage must be due to a defect, not caused by the customer. For example, cracks on the outside and inside of the screen, or damage from dropping or impact are not covered. However, the customer insisted on claiming the warranty, saying they simply transferred data and put the phone in their bag, nothing else, yet the screen was damaged. We informed the customer that we couldn't provide a warranty because the damage wasn't caused by the screen itself, but by their actions. The customer, dissatisfied, took photos and videos to publicly shame our shop, claiming it was unacceptable.

On March 31, 2026, a customer came to replace the screen of their iPhone 17 Pro. We quoted them two prices: an original screen salvaged from a new device for 17,500 THB, and a non-original OLED screen for 9,500 THB. The customer chose the OLED screen for 9,500 THB. After we finished replacing the iPhone 17 Pro screen, the customer picked up the phone. We informed them that the screen had a 1-month warranty, but with conditions: the screen must not be cracked, scratched, or exposed to moisture. We would not cover damage from moisture, but we would cover defects or problems caused by the screen itself. Today, April 3, 2026, the customer returned saying the screen wasn't working and wanted to claim the warranty. However, upon inspection, we found an internal crack in the screen, so we could not provide a warranty. The customer claimed they hadn't dropped the phone or anything, but the screen just wasn't working. We had a discussion, and the customer was unhappy that we couldn't provide a warranty or replacement. The customer threatened to expose us on TikTok. We told them it was up to them, and they left the shop. That's roughly the situation.
