Behind The Name

The name Three Poppy Studios carries a personal meaning that quietly sits at the heart of the brand. Growing up, I always called my grandfather “Poppy.” He was a WWII veteran who was born on November 11th, Remembrance Day, a connection that made the poppy symbol especially meaningful in our family.

After he passed away, I chose to honour him with a tattoo of three poppy flowers on my arm. The name “Poppy” lives on through our family, and today my own daughter calls her grandfather Poppy as well. The name felt like a fitting way to carry forward a small piece of that legacy. It's a reminder of love, family, and the moments we hold onto long after they’ve passed.

Three Poppy Studios is built on that same idea: creating meaningful details that become part of the memories people carry with them.

This design was inspired by a romantic, vintage painting of the calm countryside. This design layers a muted colour palette, timeless typography, and elevated finishes to create something truly memorable. Because the smallest details are often the most impactful.

With a background in graphic design and a love for thoughtful details, I created this studio to bring a more intentional, design-forward approach to wedding stationery. Everything I do is fully customized to each couple and their unique wedding day.
