Born in Britain in 1939, David Lewis began his career at Bang & Olufsen under the legendary Jacob Jensen and Henning Moldenhawer. His first product for the brand was the Beovision 400 television, and went on to create some of Bang & Olufsen’s most iconic pieces, including the Beosound 9000 and the Beolab 5000.​

Lewis was steeped in the idea that any product should have a long life, both in desirability and endurance. His designs were the core of Bang & Olufsen's output, especially as the company moved beyond stereo equipment and into the booming television market. ​
​
Lewis spoke about the core of the philosophy that had led to a successful collaboration with the company. "I believe that the less you complicate things, the more interesting people will find them. Let's clean up and simplify the technological mess. Let's go back to original ideas. Let's do it the Bang & Olufsen way."

Born in Copenhagen in 1926, An upholsterer of great potential.

Jacob Jensen gave form to Bang & Olufsen's vision. It became a defining collaboration that would consolidate the company’s reputation as a world leader in sound and design.

After founding Jacob Jensen Design in 1958, his path crossed with Bang & Olufsen. His first product for the brand, the Beomaster 5000, was released in 1967.

Together, they created landmark designs, twenty-eight of which were exhibited at New York's MoMA in 1978.

Jensen defined his philosophy simply: "Different but not strange.“

After 234 products and 27 years, Jensen retired in 1989. "If we had made a compromise of giving up, Bang & Olufsen wouldn't exist," he said. "It is as simple as that.“

Now, for the first time in Thailand, you can stand in front of his legacy.
